Okay, my day didn't have any hummingbirds sadly ,but l did get my teeth cleaned, it was a serious cleaning. The tech gaslit me however, l don't need to let it affect me. Happy Friday to the forum. May your day be cooler then 93 degrees in central FL.
Lots of microbs in soil, enjoyed my time in college taking micro biology courses. noticed my class mates who took the micro biology stream did not get great employment Engineering stream much better. If I had taken another semester in micobiology could have learned how to use electron microscope. 20/20 hindsight. only two of us took both streams concurrenty. No extra cost loophole my buddy noticed. So took advantage Policy was one diploma at time so never got credit for two year diploma for micro biology technician. Noticed they changed policy years later. Not worth it, as it would give me edge over my wife. Currently both of us have a two and a three year diploma. Strangest thing it was all turned into one stream years later, My oldest son took this including electon microscope.I found what was apparently worm castings covering a nice sized segment of our front yard. That sent me down a rabbit hole of research regarding microbes in soil.
Faye you still thinking inside the box, I am going to put together a thread called "how I got through college" may take me a few days Very interesting story some parts humorous as hell stuff you could not make up. Either way check out the college I mentioned they have a chemistry program, you may find interesting consider appling for their international scolarship, I am very good at working my way rhrough real life mazes and getting you through post secondary education is a maze. I can walk you through. There are community colleges close by. I had hoped to get a scholarship but didn't try to apply soon enough. Now classes will have to wait until next spring to start back if I do in fact obtain a scholarship.
I sat perfectly still and was able to watch the usually shy Baltimore oriole.
You Sound pretty typical for us. Keep to ourselves do not react emotionally on the outside.I began a first set of visitation with someone in hospice. I feel a lot to have to process, but I know that people will probably look / think of me quite different overall, especially as they start to realize that I'm not "an emotional rock to rely on" - it's that I rarely-if-ever get shocked, scared or rather gut-punched by death / deathbed situations. Folks may view it as having little care. Not at all the case. I just don't outwardly react or process it in real time like most.
