List just one thing you did today

Found out that the oldest known musical instrument is a bone flute/whistle, believed to be of Neanderthal origins, so, for fun, I cut and cleaned a deer leg bone that will become a flute.

This is about a twenty minute job - although since Neanderthals hadn't invented coping saws and power drills, I imagine it took that ancient musical genius a couple hours longer :) .

Fly? Like a fishing lure...?
The fly is the tarp like structure that goes over modern tents. This listing sort of shows it. You have the tent and then the fly goes over the top for rain protection. The tent is useless in the rain without a fly. (Yes, there are specialized tents that don’t need a fly and flies that don’t need tents. This is an example is just to answer crossbreed’s question.)

Sunday, today is about breathing deeply, not chastising myself for what l didn't accomplish last week, but focusing on what was accomplished. Partner finally has a license after thinking they didn't need glasses to pass driving test. That hump is over, male vanity, denial about their eyesight quality , l truly don't know.

Took my nephew to Domino's Pizza and bought him a pepperoni pizza to take home. We practiced our Spanish while we waited.

Today, hurricane shutters can now be screwed down during high winds. Strong beams put in front of carport, and now, l now need protection for 3 windows before late Sept. And my partner bought dinner for a veteran and family tonite, l am glad that he supports those who fought for America.

Swiss chocolate? Very few times, maybe twice. The quality of the chocolate was nothing special. The creamy pistachio flavor with the chopped up phyllo does impress. It actually retains some crunch in the mouth.
