List just one thing you did today

I'm going to the hospital to take some things like a phone charger to one of my best friends whose cat attacked her last night. She is being admitted as a patient because they are struggling to stop her bleeding due to the strong blood thinners she takes and are giving her IV antibiotics to offset the risk of cat scratch fever or infection from other pathogens typically present in cat scratches and bites. It's awful what her cat did to her. The pictures she sent me from the emergency room are shocking.

I also have to try to get the cat back inside her house and put out food and water for it. I feed that cat all the time when my friend is out of town so I'm comfortable dealing with her. And I'll clean up the blood all over her house. She lives alone and has only her 83 y/o brother to come help her.

I'm just waiting for her to text me a list of what to bring her.

Beware of cats, especially if you take blood thinners!

Update: My friend is in the "cat scratch" wing of the hospital. I didn't know that hospitals have a specific block of patient rooms for victims of animal bites and attacks. She'll be there for at least another day and night, and the doctors have temporarily paused her blood thinners so her blood will clot and stop bleeding. She no longer wants the cat because it has attacked her numerous times before and she is afraid it will attack her small grandchildren. She's traumatized by this which I fully understand.

Had to call for an ambulance for a family member during the night. We are all back home now.

This recipe tastes somewhat like the Emmi iced coffees I buy in Tesco, but there is far less sugar used in this recipe.

Some commercial brands of these beverages can contain well over 30 grams of sugar, which is ridiculous. Even the fruity drinks in Costa aren't really very good for you.

I went to town for errands. I bought a new chainsaw chain and left the old one to be sharpened, picked up a prescription, got gas and then, lo and behold! The post office and bank were closed due to the Juneteenth holiday. I don’t keep track of the days well.
