Lego Store in Meadowhall are recruiting again!

Topic.

Should I have a punt? Bare in mind I can only work part time for personal reasons.

I've applied to them before when they first opened and got turned down, would it be same result again as I'm about 3 years older now even though I have the customer service experience and qualifications?

The advantage of working for Lego would possibly be Staff discounts on Lego products for my Nephew and Niece's Birthdays and Christmas.

Come on make with the comments! They have Lego shops in North America and Canada!

Couldn't possibly tell you what may or may not happen if you apply.
What I could tell you is the only way you'll find out is to go ahead and do it.

I seriously doubt your initially being turned down was related to your age or customer service qualifications.

Most likely something else. Perhaps how you initially interviewed. That whatever you're been doing, you need to change your interview tactics. Your work experience in retail likely stands out as an asset- not a liability.

I didn't declare anything back then, as I was still under Remploy and they kept saying not to.

I didn't get to the interview, I just got an email saying they were not progressing my application.
