Well, it's called "salt and pepper" beard, and it actually looks more interesting than just one-colored beards :)
 
There's a skydiving location near my father's place (in the middle of nowhere), and when I was seriously going to look into it, I discovered that the founder of the place was in a long court battle that he barely won, concerning if he did or didn't off his spouse. Hard NO.
