Getting depressive episodes now, because i hate when it's always dark and cold, and it's only going to get darker and colder...
Also working with therapist on my gender problems. Making selfies daily to stare at myself and try to catch what thoughts I have when I see myself and internalize them.

Look again, My Backyard, Strathmore, AB, 2025-11-01.webp

A couple of photos of leaves from my backyard I captured today got drunk, ran a stop sign, and got into head-on collision with some textures I saved from an outing to my in-laws' farm some years ago. Hilarity ensued.

Now that no one is insisting that all my land must be mowed, plants are growing more naturally and I can identity them. This is Little Bluestem, a native grass that I knew when I was botanizing in the Midwest. I was delighted to find it here.

Mexican loaded tater tots, Casa McCormick, Strathmore, AB, 2025-11-02.webp

Just got around to processing the image this morning, so I hope that's close enough. There's not enough time in each day for the things I need to do. I had a cheat day and made loaded tater tots. Enjoyed them at the time, but they were so rich I was ill after.

Taken from our moving car, as we (my mother, brother Teddy and I) travel between cities to a wedding:

Here is a photo of some fall leaves as taken with my cellphone. I like the way the DSLR camera works better but don't know how to share from there onto a phone so I use my cellphone when I want to be able to send or post a photo.
