Hello,

I am Yam. I have aspergers. I am 31 and was dignosed as an adult.

I work full time, I have only recently started on a full time staff position. I am really happy to be at work and my colleagues value my contribution. Work is important to me because I am not fully independent in my care arrangement. I would like to be independent one day and live on my own and be well.

I look forward to participating in this forum.

Welcome to ASPIESCentral! It's nice to hear about people on the spectrum who are doing well for themselves, you have also set yourself a really good, attainable goal to become fully independent and there's no reason why you won't be-able to achieve it when you're ready, in fact by working full time you've already taken some big steps towards it, well done!
