Information association...

Hedgehog Instigator

Chomp chomp chomp!
I love picture association and word association, so why not do what the autistic mind does best and associate information.

You list a fact that the last fact reminded you of.

I'll start: iron is what makes amethyst purple.

Crushed shells are now mostly used for drive ways, aquarium substrate. Purple dye and paint can now be made synthetically and are essentially the same price as other colors.
2 facts sorry

Athens is a city in Greece and I still remember that
for the World History exam in 10th grade I memorized
locations on the map as: Melos & Delos, and Doris &
Rhodes; Meander, Ionia, Lydia & Troy. Hellespont,
Propontis and Thrace.

Hell, too. [Charlotte, also, but that doesn't fit the 'Greek/Michigan' theme.]

Romulus & Remus were raised by wolves;Tarzan spent time with apes.

Remus is the name of a character who featured in some of the Harry Potter books.

Uncle Remus was the main character in a Disney movie
that seems to be 'incorrect' now. Uncle Remus stories
were very hard for me to read when I was 10 because
I didn't understand the phonetic spelling of the accent/
dialect.

Pocahontas was the main character in a Disney movie that is recognized to be historically inaccurate now, including that Pocahontas was actually 12 years old when she met John Smith.

A girl 12 years old can be legally married
in Massachusetts with either parental or
judicial consent.

When we were 12, all the girls I knew
were fascinated & appalled by the story
of the Peruvian girl who gave birth at
the age of 5.
