Im 21 and have asperger's. was diagnosed last year and it has been a wild ride emotionally before and after.

My husband and two adult children have AS,,, Just found out a year ago... I'm on that ride too,,,,

Can I ask how you got diagnosed. It's almost impossible here. They diagnosed my children with ADHD.
 
I was diagnosed incorrectly with ocd and ptsd to start, then after some life issues i ended up in the hospital, and it was there that i first heard wind of the diagnoses. I wasnt looking for any diagnoses as i thought i already had one, but at the same time i felt as if the ocd wasnt a good enough answer. I began to read books about it and also saw a psychiatrist and counselor who both specialize in asperger's. they diagnosed me.

Well welcome and glad you got a diagnoses. It's very frustrating mostly to try to even get one.
