I'm considering applying to a card shop in Town for part time work

Called in this morning to see if they'd got application forms, and they said to take in a CV, which I'll do this week.

Meh, I obviously didn't get that sales position I interviewed for last Tuesday, so much for "equal opportunities" but this isn't the Politics section, I'll spare you all my rant on that topic.

Sorry, you did not get that job. Keep trying though. My approach to jobs has always been to find the ones where they need you more than you need them. This is why I chose security. Before getting sick and developing T2 diabetes, I drove a truck and never had to worry about employment. Critical shortages of labor means the red carpet gets rolled out. So, I went to security.
