I'm being held here against my will (not really)

Hello:
I'm the mother of a teenage Aspie wannabe (she has NVLD but she is in denial).
Life is never boring.
Recently I've enjoyed completing grade 11, again, 40 years, 2 undergraduate degrees and a Masters later. Macbeth one more time. The fun never ends.
At lease grade twelve will be 12th Night.
Taking support to a new level.
Glad to be here.

Welcome...

Have you determined which side of the family it hails from...?

Both of my parents are NT, I've been their son for almost 30 years - so I know. Do most Aspies have both NT parents, like myself? I was always curious about the hereditary aspect of this because I don't know any members in my family that are on the spectrum (although it's hard to tell, both my grandfathers died before I was born).
