I will not post that comment... (on a Facebook group)

There is a story here... My wonderful job in the recycling industry which keeps me going at breakneck speed for two or three after Christmas, only getting one day off at a time... Boxing Day to Saturday (work), get Sunday off, work New Year's Eve (10 hours), New Year's Day off, back to work on January 2nd, probably work until Saturday this week, when we normally get Saturday off

Back on topic, it makes my blood boil when I see people on the local Facebook photography group talk about photo outings they have done, when I get hardly any time off, when 99% of the working population gets the week off between Christmas and New Year's... And I will get my turn to take my photos, just at another time...

:(

I could easily post a comment about how I worked that day instead of their outing, underneath that photo from their outing, feeling frustrated, and I've nine years of Christmas in this industry, in some ways I get used to it, but I still hate that aspect of my post-Christmas work schedule...

Yet I know that comparison is the worst thing anyone can do, and it's not polite to make a post that compares my life to someone else, I need to learn to live in my own reality, no matter how I feel about it...

That's all, it's still a struggle for me but I need to learn how to find more positive in my life and focus on the negative less...

That is an excellent goal to strive for, but, you are, also, entitled to your feelings, in my humble opinion.

Not that you need one, necessarily, but sending you a hug...

My heart feels weird for you!

I mean hurts for you...?

What's the expression?

Whatever it is, "feels weird," is the most accurate.

My heart is uncomfortable for you!

Anyway... I wish I could hug you. :(

Could the expression you are looking for, be; 'I empathize', or similar?

edit...I just realized that your question may have been rhetorical.

It wasn't rhetorical, I don't think I ever ask those, but it's an expression involving the heart for sure. What you said sounds like a literal translation of the expression I was trying to use.

But for certain things, things like this topic, I feel it somewhere in the heart area, but I always have difficulty using words to describe physical sensations..

I really appreciate you trying to answer! It's a feeling in the same area but the opposite! Good!

I sound like a caveman when I try describing these sorts of things..

I am the same, in that I have a lot of difficulty describing physical sensations, as well as some emotions. I know how I feel, but have a hard time putting my feelings into words. Although, I can struggle with putting my thoughts into words, as well. : -)

I'm in a few groups on Facebook, some people go WAY too far in comments IMO, the Mods are good though, I report offensive stuff and in most cases it gets removed.
