I hope its okay if I post this here.

This link here will take you to my own forum website, Vague Reality. It is essentially the "central hub" of my ARG I started a while back, if you guys remember me doing so. My ultimate goal with this is a full-hearted attempt at helping the world to understand Asperger's Syndrome and the Autism Spectrum in the most comprehendible way possible, hoping to narrow the complications (if any) down to the simplest factor. I feel like doing this in a way I myself understand, if that makes sense, will be part of that effort.

But I need your help.

If you go to Vague Reality you'll find that it is somewhat empty, save for the small population of a few "observants", for lack of better words. Take some time to explore a few threads and you'll most certainly notice their presence; they have been quite active as of late, and right now, one of them has found themselves in what I can only assume to be a complex world of hurt.

Please feel free to make an account there at your own discretion.

Please be advised: I want the mods on this site to know that I am not trying to steal its users. This is essentially nothing more than a really big, complex roleplay I started as a hobby of sorts; a game. It is more or less a pastime I invented and I thought others here would find it a fun little thing to do. I do not intend to somehow step on any toes this way. If you decide to faff around on there and you enjoy it, that's awesome. If you don't, no harm done.

I’m perusing it now.

I was just looking at the thread with Jabberwocky. I love that poem. I memorized it when I was young and it never left my mind.
That's neat! And thank you so much for taking time out of your day (or night? lol) to check out my lil thingamabob I did lol.

I encourage you to keep poking around. There's lots more to see. And remember, there are encoded messages there for a reason :P

I'm curious, what overall format do you intend to take with this? Is it just the forum, or is there other stuff?
Oh, there will be much, much more stuff to go with it. Trust me.

The Forum I gave life to is simply a starting point. As I said, a central hub.

An ARG, or Alternate Reality Game, is an interactive narrative that unfolds in the real world using various media to tell a story. Players engage with clues, puzzles, and tasks to progress through the narrative, often collaborating with others to solve the mystery

I googled ARG as it's a new concept to me. ARG is based on Reality. I've grown up with RPG meaning Role Play Game. Also LARP or LARPG meaning Live Action Role Play Game.

As it would be difficult to live Reality as purely a Warrior or Sorcerer or Monk or other Classes of Heroes.

I understand we can not collaborate on Solving the mystery. Those collaborating would be extroverts, somehow, is Introversion or Introspecting valuable?

I may not engage much here. (edit) I registered on your forum @UberScout to see.

If I might offer a suggestion: dont start the narrative with puzzles and such.

The big challenge, and what kills a lot of ARGs, is that there needs to be a very solid "hook" to the whole thing. A lot of times someone will just try to fling a pile of puzzles immediately out there, but most viewers dont have that kind of attention span until they are very invested in it already. There's gotta be momentum already going. And the story needs to be somewhat followable for those who arent directly taking part.

Every successful ARG I've seen (and I've seen, like, all of them) will have that solid core, and then have the puzzles and cryptic bits sorta revolve around it (but at the same time, not too many of them, dont overload viewers or they'll fall off). There's a reason why all of the biggest ARGs start out with JUST a couple of high-impact videos, and THEN they sort of "spread out" once people are invested. Even Marble Hornets, which is sort of the granddaddy of this format, did this. It later went wild with all the puzzly bits, but it was that solid start that allowed it to work.

And the other thing: puzzles work best if there's a concrete reason for them to be present within the story. If they are just stapled on, it knocks out the immersion for many viewers.

I don't remember saying you can't collaborate... I must have put that somewhere absentmindedly, haha. It's not that you can't collaborate, what I meant by that was "it's not a game of Clue"

@UberScout Hi

I mean "I" understand that ... Of course i'll try your website. ... i'll set off time to explore your site and put it in my list.

I'll write it on my Notepad (edit) I looked through your website now. I don't understand what is going on there. ... But good luck. I'm inable to create a website for the public. That's my fault.
