Real name is Sara, 31 years old now and married. I grew up on a small dairy farm, 32 cows, 3 pigs, a horse, and so many cats. I have 2 cats right now, Peter Mitch Ferguson, and Brienne Littlefoot. I spend most of my time gaming, it's what I like to do the most and I also use it to socialize online. Right now I am playing World of Warcraft after a 2 yr break from it. I also play a lot of this game called Rimworld.

I work in a hospital on the graveyard shift as a CNA. I have been a CNA since I was 17. My mother pushed me to do it and I stuck with it. I just moved to a new floor that is a lot less hectic so It's pretty decent compared to AM shifts on a surgical floor, pretty stressful. I am able to think quickly though so that helped in crazy situations where others stand there frozen. I have seen a lot, medical wise.

I also really like to sketch and do hands on crafts in general. I want to start playing my violin again but It's hard to do that in an apartment.

I was diagnosed last year so the dust is still settling. It has been kind of weird for me, thinking back on my life.

You may see me in chat from time to time :) Probably should go on there more often.

Hi Sara, I won't say welcome as you've already been here a while! Thanks for the intro though, and I'm glad that you're here and participating :-)

I love that your cats have surnames as well as first names! And different surnames too I notice. It's got me thinking for my little cat...

Utini (Sara),
You are a CNA in a hospital... Wow I do admire that you can cope with what I know you see, smell, and the beeps, and constant hustle... My daughter in law is a CNA and I hear her speak of things that are really gross.

I couldn't do what you do... My sensory systems are just too far out of whack to adjust to that. I dislike even going into a ER, doctors office, or a hospital... its like I feel stuff I shouldn't feel and I get really upset and confused a lot of times and I don't understand why.

Its usually a really tough day for me just to go there for a short time, and you do this daily...

Thats really cool, that you have a very meaningful job and you help people everyday. : )

welcome.webp
