I hate Stelazine (Trifluoperazine)!

Has anybody else had a negative experience with Trifluoperazine? When I was on it I couldn't concentrate or remember things from the short term. I was obsessive and aggressive too. I always wanted to sleep. Stupid drug ruined 6 months of my life

Drug therapy can be a precarious process, regardless of the competency of the physician prescribing said medications. I went through more than half a dozen before settling on one that still had some appreciable side effects. And I recall one in particular that made me quite ill.

If a medication isn't doing what it was prescribed for, stop taking it and notify your doctor immediately. This can be a guessing game for both you and your doctor. A process requiring a patient to go in with "their eyes wide open"at all times with any and every medication involved.
