I am morbidly obese currently.

I look in the mirror and I am disgusted by what I see.

I am currently keeping myself around 2200 calories a day and I gave up all liquid calories. I need to get a lot more physical exercise in. I have the drive and the motivation to burn off my belly and my chin. I just wish it was safe to do it rapidly instead of slow and steady.

Have you ever thought of getting a piece of exercise equipment for your home? A stationary bicycle comes to mind. It could be something you do while also watching movies. If it's easily accessible you could jump on it just a few minutes at a time to get into the habit.

I know that slow and steady can be really tough, but if you could find a way to enjoy regular exercise, it might be easier.

I am actually using YouTube videos to teach me how to properly use my set of adjustable dumbbells which go from 5 to 75 lbs each. I am starting at 15.

It's fine. Start where you are. Do what you can with what you have. Do it slowly and it's more likely to stay off. Also gives your skin a chance to bounce back. You got this.

A couple of people suggested I started doing HIIT training. I need to build myself up to that point first. I am horribly out of shape.

You can do that eventually. The thing to work on now is calorie reduction and maybe a low impact exercise. Walking is good for that.

Start small and build up.

Good idea. Turn exercise into something practical that fits more into one's lifestyle. It's why I choose to incorporate a great deal of walking into my routines.

Not just to walk, but to get to where I need to be even when I drive somewhere. That I deliberately park far away from where I need to be indoors for the exercise. And when shopping, I make it a point to walk a lot in very large stores.
