If you saw my profile post this morning, you know the day didn't start out too well. Afterwards, I was able to get Mama to laugh several times. My Mama and I went to get hay for the horses and after loading it up, I got some hay in my mouth and spit it out. She asked me what was wrong and I responded with " Hay is for horses ••• and from that sample they can keep it!😃" Later at the pasture, the fence was down in several places again. After we completed one of the repairs, I gestured towards the wire which was reflecting a lot of sunlight and said "It's shiny isn't it?" She was like "Yes." I was like, "See!😃 There's at least one silver lining in this situation!😏🤣" There have been some other things as well, but those lines were my favorites and the one about the silver lining had her laughing the most. I also got to demonstrate my cane balancing/twirling routine intentionally and made up some silly songs. There really are ways to turn bad days into good ones. Just look for those silver linings.😉
