Human DNA Found In HotDogs

I already quit eating from fast food burger places, including McDonalds several years ago and stories like the one above always make me more glad that I don't; however, I am not certain what to believe about the story above. Most sources seem to say it's all a hoax. I don't know.

Fast food aint exactly healthy for you anyway. Good to get away from it, I think.

Soylent Green got one upped by those bars in the movie, Snowpiercer. Bleh!

Seriously, though, I moved to eating turkey dogs years ago, but I did it because turkey is higher protein.

"Allegedlies..."

I don't eat frankfurters because of the brain offal.
Now, if I were one of the undead...🤔

the "spiders in the soda" incidents,
Something like this recently happened to me at a seafood shack type of restaurant.
The waitress sat my Sprite down on the table but immediately grabbed it up and said, "Oh, there's something in that drink." I didn't get to see what.
She brought out another or removed whatever it was and brought it back. Who knows.

I did get a nice crispy spider at another cafe once on my pizza slice! Just flipped it off.
Didn't hurt the pizza.

Another time, a loaf of bread out of a bakery case was full of palmetto bugs when I cut into it. That had to have been done on purpose by whomever made the bread there. Easy to see them.
Goes to show you never know what may be in food. No matter where you get it from.

And never trust morticians that run a meat packing facility. Gross point! 😱

A reminder: modern DNA-processing techniques are incredibly sensitive.

They "amplify" miniscule amounts of DNA until there's enough for testing:

The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a method widely used to make millions to billions of copies of a specific DNA sample rapidly, allowing scientists to amplify a very small sample of DNA (or a part of it) sufficiently to enable detailed study.

You might recognize "PCR" from reading about C-19 testing and vaccine.

I don't remember the numbers, but that "human DNA" might be a few skin cells, or even DNA from an aerosol, in 100kg of product. Or more: billions of times amplification is a lot - too much to visualize.

It's certainly less than what you'd get from any home-cooked or restaurant meal (assuming everyone is conforming to "best practices" when handling the food). Just the DNA on a plate from wait-staff's hands will be more.

Bottom line: the data linked in the OP is interesting, and great "click bait", but it may not be important.
The OP is well worth it just for the later Soylent Green references though :)
