How to not take this personally?

Since you just moved and had help from 'friends' I don't think you've been abandoned. It's just that people have their own stuff to do. If you're in a new area, maybe join a new 12 step group.

True. And as others have pointed out to me, I should not expect most newcomers in 12 step circles to stick around for the long haul. I want to welcome people and make myself available. I even had a few sponsees at one point. I guess the closure of face to face meetings has had negative side effects.
