I camped at Acadia once, in September. It was pretty funny, because the beach was full, but about 8 people were in the water.
Lol. That definitely sounds like Maine!
I'm hoping to go to Acadia this summer but it's a long drive from my cabin (in the Boothbay area.)

When I went to my cabin a few years ago, it was in the 50s and rainy the whole time, in June. Miserable.
Last year, my vacation was ruined by a horror movie that caused a massive PTSD relapse. I had to leave early.
Hopefully this year there will be no rain, warmer temperatures, and no mention of horror movies.

Hi @Kayla55 thanks for the long thorough response.

Could you maybe give a bit more context to these last 2 questions (I am bit lost - working through a Autistic burnout so I am sometimes still missing the obvious).
Catatonia is one way dealing with embarassment or unwanted social efforts. I found over time when I got depressed all these things would grind at me, a culmative buildup.
Maybe just not built for this world
