A great description of PTSD. I just wish I could have parented that teen and young man that I was and tell him it is all going to be OK.

Yes, @Gerald Wilgus, I think you would have been very helpful to that boy. You are very helpful to me and others here, too. It’s sad that young boy couldn’t experience this wisdom that you now have.
