Hive mentality

Police make me very uncomfortable, due to the fact that I was wrongly arrested several years ago and put in handcuffs (even though I was cooperating) and put in cop car and taken to jail for 10 hours.

Sorry that happened to you. I was harrassed by law enforcement, but they couldn't pin anything on me, so I escaped the situation. It was scary and gave me PTSD. Even now, I still don't know what they were after, but they were barking up the wrong tree.

It’s happened throughout history.
Villagers chasing the odd one out with lit torches and pitchforks.

The thumbs up or thumbs down at tournaments from the Roman Emperor never saw 14 lawyers from the audience scrabbling around for some pro bono.

Juries are selected to give the most favourable outcome and not necessarily a random cross section of the population.

Do I believe in and trust the judicial system?
It’s the folks that operate and profit from it that I don’t trust.
