Hello I've recently been diagnosed and would like some friends to chat with and exchange experiences with. I'm 46, schoolteacher living in the UK, single dad with the usual aspie challenges, let me know if you'd like to link up on here, thanks Gordon

Welcome, Gordon! Nice picture. :) I'm sure you'll find plenty of people to chat with here.

Hi there, and welcome to AC :)

Schoolteacher huh? Interesting - I've worked as a technician in a school once, and from what I've seen I don't think I could cope with the stress of teaching within a school environment. How do you manage it?! :)

Hery Gordon,
I share your story except the UK and the teacher part, and the diagnosis part. OK, we pretty much don't have anything in common, but I'm up for a chat. I was a single dad, but I'm now an empty nester. I will never forget the challenges you speak of though, what times we had.
