Hi!!

I recently discovered this forum. I was diagnosed Asperger/ADD in 2007. I'm 33 now. I'm a typical introvert aspie. Not really a nerd, I can't say that (after all nerds are cool, and I kinda look up to nerdish qualities in a person). However, I'm a daydreamer by nature. I also have a some symptoms that remind me of Tourette's (vocal tics, compulsory thoughts) but I guess that's fairly common thing to have, when we're dealing with people with neurological issues.

I have minimal social life. I do go to work, but it's allways a hassle in there - not a good place for an aspie to make friends! Not that I would need very many friends anyway, or people around me. I love the idea of living alone. I don't think I could have it any other way. Sure, an idea of a loverelationship appeals to me, but above all I feel that I need to belong to a community of some sort.

So much going on in my head, but it feels difficult to translate every single thought into English, since it's not my native language!
