Hi! My name is Tony! I have Social Anxiety + ADD + Sleep Apnea + Aspergers + Depression!

I'm a twenty eight year old male who has extreme social anxiety disorder and varying levels of depression. Also have really bad ADD which makes it very hard for me to stay focused on something too long. Sleep apnea means I'm constantly tired and fall asleep at random times because of breathing troubles when I sleep and Aspergers well you know how that is. :D

I currently live in a residential habilitation apartment because my extreme social anxiety doesn't allow me to really work because of how much I worry about what people will think of me and such.

Yes I receive social security. I want to break out onto my own, travel the world, get over this darn disorder! I'm trying by making a youtube channel of miscellaneous things, trying to get into freelance writing, and doing surveys for cash. Again though the focus matter comes into play.

I do have a few friends and such but getting on social media websites (facebook, twitter, and instagram) and seeing people going out, having fun, having a ton of friends, always depresses me. Yes I could choose to simply not go onto those but I do have family and friends to keep in contact with.

I would love to have more friends, less depression, and travel. So anyways I've joined this forum to see if it could help me out depression, aspergers, and social anxiety wise!

Pleased to meet you!

Hello Tony! It's nice to meet you. As an aspie who has been living abroad for two years in Taiwan, I hope I can inspire you that travel is indeed possible! There's another member who lives abroad in Hong Kong that I know of as well.

I think you have admirable and achievable goals and I hope that you find resources and connections on this forum that will help you grow and thrive.
