And, by the way (in your latest post of your site), I don't see the problem with calling your girlfriend in your anecdote about helping her get her ADSL Internet connection fixed... I know a bit about that stuff and yet I'd have to get details from the person who knows what the issue is and can ok a potential costs (I'd ask in advance - but that's only because I have an idea what might come up) - I'd say most people would do the same as you if put in the same circumstances... (I had an issue requiring a visit once - and I had to show them the fault because they couldn't find it)

EDIT: But I should mention, I do like the reference to the "The Insurmountable Waist-High Fence"
