Hi I'm Rich (by name at least, I'm otherwise skint)

Topic.

I am 40 a week next Thursday, was diagnosed with AS in late October 1999 at the age of 23 and half.

I have lots of interests but the main one is computing, I'm on the Internet all day every day on Facebook, YouTube and Google searching various topics.

I live in s small 1 Bedroom Flat in Central Sheffield, just outside the City Centre with support from my Parents and a local care company.

I work 2 days a week in 2 local charity shops, PDSA and Oxfam.

Hi Rich! Welcome to AspiesCentral! You'll find all kinds of people, with all kinds of interests here. We're friendly and helpful here, so make yourself at home!

Hello Rich,

Welcome to Aspies Central. Had to look up 'skint' as I didn't' know what it meant, where I live it's known as bien être.

I am lost.
I thought "skint" was rather negative.
Like 'broke' or 'out of luck.'

But every definition I see for "bien etre"
is quite laid back and positive.

Hi Rich, I'm quite similar to you, I spend all my free time on the computer too. I also work in Oxfam at the moment, putting items like CDs and games online for them.

To me "skint" means I have no money.

Due to being an Aspie, I am unemployed apart from my Charity shop jobs, and am thus, on benefits.

Welcome Rich. I like the picture you have behind you in your profile shot. I know Sheffield very well as it was the only other place, aside from Manchester that was a straight train ride from my parent's local railway station plus one of my elder sisters lived there for a year or so in the 90s.

Hi Rich, welcome to AC. I saw you already in the early 3D games thread. I used to play those Lucasarts games, too. Fond memories. :)

It's no fun being skint but I'm like that you can make a good joke out of it. :)
