Hi, my son aged 8 was just recently diagnosed with Aspergers's. It's a shame it hadn't been diagnosed earlier. Anyway, I just wrote a post on my blog about the diagnosis and coming to terms with it. I hope someone finds it helpful.

I read your blog, about your son, J. I'm sure you're still trying to get your head around it all, and wondering about his future. AS does tend to affect individuals differently, so what works for one, doesn't necessarily work for another, but there might be a few bits of advice you can take, from this community. One of the things I've noticed, for many Aspies, is that many tend to become more socially curious, later in life. If, and when, this happens, depends on the individual. I've noticed a lot of members seem to find this, in their mid-late 20s, though.
