Hey, 'sup

Gentoo linux for 12 years here. Also did Slack, and others back in the day. Ready to build the kernel for cross-LFS, when I have time to get back onto that project.

Your wording is unfortunate for me. Now I will have to briefly research exactly how many sorts of "flightless waterfowl", fresh and marine, there are. The question in my mind, is: Are there enough varieties to really have a favorite?

Red Hat back "in the day." Then bounced between Win XP and various Linux variants until I settled on Ubuntu. Dual booted XP for awhile until I finally realized it was just taking space on my hard drive. Actually, the penguin is my favorite fowl flightless or otherwise. :-)

I love Linux as well and is currently running Debian :D I'm also learning to use the kernel's system calls in assembly to write drivers and etc ... I'm also learning 8085 assembly since I'm always bouncing all over the place in my interests. Truth is I guess I don't have the patience of trying to get Window programs for Nintendo ROM hacking to work in WINE and the patience for the learning curve involved in learning programming or assembly :/

I use an old Windows netbook for the few times I need a Windows app. Once I wait for a half hour for Windows to do all it's updates/etc when I boot it up... Which is why I normally use Ubuntu, turn it on and it's ready to go. Update when I want to update!
