Hello everyone, I just joined up in hope to communicate with others who feel how I do, I was diagnosed in February with Aspergers. After struggling my entire life it is at least comforting to know I'm not alone, I struggle greatly with friendships, a few years ago I gave up trying to make friends because it only ever left me depressed when it didn't work out. I would like to at least be able to talk to people who understand. I'm having a bad time with anxiety at the moment, kind of hoping this helps. Anyway, there you have it. Hello again! x
 
hello, welcome, i've only recently joined as well, there are lots of interesting and active forum discussions that i can relate to, people are friendly, no one judges, everyone tries to help with advice or sharing experiences, its been great up till now :-)

Welcome to AC! I also struggle to make and keep friends. For me, this is possibly due to poor emotional regulations and awkward social skills. But I really like this forum. It is full of supportive and nice people :)
 
Hi, I gave up, it was exhausting and I always end up getting hurt. I dwell way too much on that subject, I hate not having people to talk to, even if it is awkward lol
