Hello!

What's up guys? I'm Emily.
I was diagnosed with Autism not otherwise specified, but everyone in my family has Aspergers. My mom has it, my brother has it, my uncle has it, and my grandpa has it. I guess I have to be the weird one. My grandma is an autism activist, and has written a few books... so yeah. Hi!

Welcome Emily :)

You're quite lucky to have a whole family on the spectrum to relate with! I admire your grandmother for wanting to help others as well; we defiantly need more people like her.

Hi Emily,
Welcome and enjoy the site :-)
Aspergers and autism run in families. I'm Aspergers and so is my son. If I start to reflect on my family I'd say so was my grandmother and my mother. But they haven't been diagnosed. My son and I have and we see lots of parallels.
Well hope you look around and make new friends :-)

Welcome to AC :)
I too come from a family with a history of autism

Being autistic makes each of us special

Hi! My mom and brother and I are on the spectrum too. I am glad to know u have people to relate with. I couldn't imagine being the only one in my family. But it makes me remember how blessed I am and I hope u can feel blessed by ur family also.
