I discovered this forum yesterday and I just love it. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much some of what people have written here applies to me too, but I guess it's no surprise since I'm an Aspie and proud of it.
I actually made a few posts in other threads before introducing myself because I didn't know this place had an introduction forum. Guess I should have looked more carefully the first time, haha.
I hope to feel a real part of this community soon! I already feel pretty at home here but once I get to know everyone I'll feel even more so. :)

Thanks Rocco. :) When I discovered this forum and posted this thread, it was called Aspergic and my username/nickname was Anne, the name I go by in real life. That forum eventually kind of died so I went to Aspies for Freedom for a little while instead, but left in late 2012 after getting tired of all the religious intolerance. That's when I found this forum, and after a while discovered that it had apparently once been Aspergic. :) I guess when I made my umbrellabeach account it knew who I was and merged with my old account.
