The name's rupert. Am a 24 year old computer engineer that is just trying to keep busy the best he can whilst the job market and economy go thru their woes.

Was diagnosed autistic at the age of 2 and from there a lot of extreme ableism and abuse was suffered at the hands of my folks. Despite that I somehow managed to graduate college and still have aspirations of being a functional member of society. I have a lot of useless knowledge about computers that's itching to be used.

Welcome! That's not useless at all, and it sounds like you're really doing great things despite what you've been handed. I often wish that I would've gone the traditional route and went to school instead of trying to pick things up on my own, so you're way ahead of some of us :D
