My name is Ian, I'm 36 diagnosed with Aspergers in my mid 20's.
Typical issues with:
- inflammatory health issues
- high IQ
- social anxiety
- issues with career
- talented at a bunch of things typical of someone with Aspergers
- highly self deprecating
- typical Aspergers childhood
- strong moral convictions

Talents in basketball, judo, drawing, music (BA Hons), cooking, maths, psychology, debate, logic, empathy, logic puzzles etc.

What am I currently working on?

- moving on with more heartache
- educating myself in Copywriting to allow myself work from home
- working on Duo Lingo to improve my memory issues
- rehabilitating a body with unusual impulses and sensory/pain issues so I can return to dynamic exercise again
- trying to figure out a way I can still polish myself as a complete and well rounded person so I still have a chance at my own family and a regular life
- owning up to how hard I struggle with my condition so that I can be stronger instead of holding others at bay or hiding

welcome to af.webp

There a lot of us here with very similar issues. You will feel inspired and accepted here as we all discuss the mountains of effort to scale the Mt Fugi that we face everyday.

Yes, l just discovered a real mountain climbing indoor facility opening up so my comments maybe leaning in that context. Lol

Copywriting is on the list for those who are autistic. I loved being a paralegal, another job on the list.

Welcome
