Hi All
My name is Nana Kath and im looking for a community to help me understand more about my 12 yr old Grandsons schooling? Im not sure if anyone else here helps to look after Grand children, but GS is on the spectrum and lives with his Dad and Dad is struggling with lone parenting and the school system who don't give them much support? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi. Yeah the school system wasn't much help in my experience either. Somehow they got worse since then. Cant really give you much advice save this. My grandmother was there threw the hard stuff. Be there for him. Make him fell welcome and safe. And for me legos helped too. The big blocks. Thats all i can think off anyway.

Welcome to the forums, I also have a son on the spectrum, but we probably don't live in the same country. The schooling here is not bad for my son thankfully.
I am on the spectrum as well and as Wolf prince said, be there for him. My grandmother is one of the best memories I have. She accepted me and anyone else unconditionally. She was and still is my hero even though she has long passed.
