I've always felt strange. Interacted oddly, never had friends really.

My daughter was recently diagnosed. Things are starting to click.

So, uh, hi?

Hello :) welcome to AC! "Things starting to click" is a familiar feeling.... I wouldn't worry about how you interact here. I've found people are really relaxed and easy to talk to. It does tend to run in families, as I've discovered.

Hello. You are not alone, I felt the same thing as you described. When I was young it was difficult to make friends, and I still do.
