Hey, I'm Autis. Or rather, my favorite weighted plush is Autis.

I was a member of another autism community that was very accusational and I grew....very not fond of. I'm seriously hoping this community is better. I do feel the need to talk to others who are autistic or have experience with autism, so I'm hoping for a place somewhere. I promise I do behave well and follow rules when treated with respect and understanding. I just like supportive communities much better than controlling ones.

My special interests are many, including plush, The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Disney movie), paleontology, the musical "Wicked" and more.

I'm diagnosed as autistic. Or at least, as "On the autism spectrum". I don't think I'm Aspergers, and I believe that diagnosis is null now, so that doesn't matter. :P

I hope I'll feel more comfortable here! This place looks nice. :)
 
I've been here a while and there are some nice folk here.
I hope you'll find a home here away from the madness of the outside world.

you will love this forum i think,i came from a horrible dictorship of a forum to a while ago [except on here i dont post much,im more of a reader i think] and it was such a chilled forum i stayed.

it doesnt matter if your somewhere else on the spectrum than aspergers,im not to and still relate to a lot of the posts,its a very happy community,its not busy but that can be a good thing, places like WP that are huge dont have the same friendly caring feeling like AC.
