FWIW, I think that my girlfriends were initially intrigued that I didn't seem to be wolfing around them as expected. I was pretty easy to talk to, as well.

When I first met my now partner, I was still grieving the loss of my Ex.
That seemed to have impressed her.

Noticed both women and men on this site looking for relationships. Maybe we need a section on site for enabling this. after all have Aspie tends to like fellow aspie. My sister an aspie married an Aspie. She was a geologist, he was a mining engineer. She was his boss. I could see this site having a section helping this along.

I always thought this was a good idea and suggested it on another website, but nothing ever came of it.
I even suggested social interaction classes for romantic situations with pretend hookups (in a social sense).
I still think it is a good idea, but one that has never lifted off to my knowledge.

On the OTHER autism site, it sadly became another battleground in the Great Gender War. Whether it's still the same I don't know, haven't been there in 5 years.

I know which one you are talking about.
Yes, it was more interested in gender wars than pragmatic suggestions.
I think it has settled down on that front lately.

I think it would lift off if done in such a way, that matches how we do things as aspies. logic, lists following nature in how ladies and men relate to each other. A few of my female friends are now single we chat I see pattern. do not fight nature.

Looking back what is interesting to me is that no woman has ever had an interest in me. I have been on a handful of dates but none of them ever were very keen or expressed even a fifth of much interest as I did.

My point being I still have no clue what type of woman would go for me. None have even had the slightest interest. Trying to talk to woman, chat with women, text with women, and writing with women has always felt like pulling teeth to me. I write or talk to them, and they give me the bare minimum back. It has just never felt natural, and none seem to actually enjoy talking to me I would kill just to meet a woman who enjoys spending time with me.

I have probably texted with dozens of women who just completely stopped responded. I never heard from them again. After a while it grew painful to see the names and numbers of people in my phone who under no circumstance would ever respond to me again. So, I just deleted all my contacts.

To this day I have two contacts in my cell phone. Just my mother and my father.

She likes to debate. I noticed women do tend to come in with a shopping list. How well do you fit their shopping list. The men see her as older had her family why is she not willing to have sex fortunately she has a nice figure making her more desirable.

I would, she is currently looking locally, she does like Aspies. She has a tendency to get into conspiracy stuff. not something I'm interested in. I let her know it. She is a very assertive, hands give this away.

She would need to know more about you. She has four kids close to your age, The more you let me know about you the more helpful I can be. Like I stated privately, have two sons of my own similar in age to you. One who had his pick of any women when single. The other who had to be a bit more imaginative. Both in relationships.

I do not mean to be rude or anything. To me the facts sort of speak for themselves. I am 39, male, single, live in West Virginia. I am desperate enough to give my phone number to a complete stranger online because he has a single friend who is 61. I am not really sure what else there is to say.

I'll tell my wife, who chats with her all the time, Tried setting her up twice now first time guy was not in shape second time he was not intellectually challenging. Her lack of education makes bright guys hard to find. Fortunately us high functioning tend to be bright, I guess what bought her and her husband together 40 years ago.
