Hello I'm new on this forum

My name is Laurent, I'm from France, and I'll do my best to speak a good english. The thing is, it is easier to me to express my self with artwork (poetry, music, photos, paintings, videos...) than to talk. I hope I could post sometime some of my work, not to promote my art, and without link to sell my work. Only to share with the members of the group.

I've been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in May 2013, but since February 2014, my psy think it might be Asperger syndrome. Which is very unknown and difficult to heal in France.
Now, I'm taking Abilify since March 2014.

Hi, Laurent! Don't worry. We'd be happy to see your art. Members here routinely share photos, etc. of things they do or are interested in, so your contributions are welcome. :)

Welcome, Laurent! I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder (in the form of seasonal affective disorder), and I don't think the two issues are mutually exclusive.

Nice to finally meet a Frenchman here! :)

Hi Laurent and welcome,
Nothing wrong with your english my friend. Outstanding job.
Looking forward to seeing your work.
Cheers

Thank you very much to everybody for your warm welcome!
I will post some of my artwork time to time, it is my best to express myself and communicate. But i will have also many questions I will try to ask, depending of my mood. Since I take Abilify for almost two months, my creativity came back, I can't stop the flow, but my every day life is hard to bear, always running away from reality and social life.
Anyway, thanks again!

salmongirl17, i really appreciate your words. I really don't if I am a great artist, it's just i like any kind of arts to express what my mouth can tell. :) it's really a need, even if it doesn't help my social life to be easier. I live in my own world, and art does help me, but my every day life and relationship are so complicated. Too many people too judge me without understand me, but I cannot blame them, with my complexity and all my contradictions! And maybe girls are scared by my beheavior? :)

That's interesting since a particular movie that I consider to be one of the best movies with Asperger characters is French, but the word "Aspergers" is not mentioned anywhere in the movie. (the characters also have severe anxiety on top of the Aspergers)
