Hi there,

I've been searching for the right kind of online community for a while, and I'm really glad to have found this one.

I was diagnosed Level 1 autistic last year, and it brought such a deep sense of relief and recognition. Finally having a "why" behind the way I experience and navigate the world has been incredibly validating. It's helped me make peace with parts of myself that never quite made sense before, and helped me begin embracing them, instead of trying to change them(like i had been).

A bit about me: I'm in my 30s and live a quiet life surrounded by nature. I'm an INFJ. I tend to move through life with observation, sensitivity, and a deep need for meaningful connection. I value calm, intentional living, and I spend much of my time creating (I'm a photographer and videographer), and caring for my home & garden. I am also passionate about music, writing, psychology, holistic healing, crafting, gardening, and nature.

I'm really looking forward to connecting with others who understand the unique ways our minds and nervous systems are wired.

Thanks for having me.

Hi Elowen!
Welcome!
What does INFJ means?
Reading your introduction we surely have very much in common, I live with my husband and cats in rural Ireland surrounded by nature.
I used to love photography and videography but somehow people put me off and I don't do it anymore...
I love music, I learnt to play fiddle in the past 12 years, I am a nutrition nerd and I am very interested in herbal medicine and holistic wellbeing and healing, I love crafting, painting, growing my medicinal herbs and nature!
And I discovered I'm Audhd in the past months...!
I can relate so strongly with all you wrote in your post...
Isn't it wonderful to finally find people who know what you went and are going through all your life? ❤️

🤣i initially read that as "minds and nervous systems are weird".

Hi

I'm INFP for what it is worth. For me it means i prioritize Prayer Defense and Karate, because two weeks ago i recieved a verdict from my Muslim superior that i can't play music (and it felt like I was getting started!). So now i'm trying to recover.

But i've never met an INFJ. I know. You have already reminded me i must study Karate and stand the night as Royal Gard. Again.

WELCOME! Finding a sense of belonging when it's very difficult is very relief-giving, for sure. You are going to be doing very well here at AspiesCentral.com, Elowen.

Welcome Elowen.

I really enjoyed your post and relate to much of the lifestyle.
The quiet life with nature and gardening!

Finding the "why" was very liberating to me also. Explained so much.
I was diagnosed in my mid 50's.
And finding this forum was the ideal place to connect with others and have even more questions answered. I've been here ever since my diagnosis.
I'm INTJ.

Glad you found the group!
