Hi, my son is college freshman. He was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome when he was 16. He is good at facts, loves history and has a good number sense. He wanted to major in History and minor in Math. It's been two months into the fall semester now. He found out he is not good at math. He's not sure if he could major in history either since he doesn't like to write. What are good college majors for Asperger students ? Will he be able to find a job after graduation that can support him?

If he enjoys logic and creating virtual things, then get him coding.

Java, Microsoft .net

If not coding, then testing and quality assurance for software.

Welcome!

I was attracted to medicine and arts.
It turned out very well for me and I was able to get work as a pharmacist.
I love psychology and philosophy as well.
Just today I was joking I like psychology so well I should have majored in that and I would be rich today as a psychiatrist.

Doing what you enjoy is a plus.
