My son was diagnosed at 7 and is now a senior. Over the years, I have come to believe I may also have Asperger's. I have all kinds of hopes and dreams for him, and it is good to see such a fantastic resource for support.

Welcome to the forum. I've been here for a few month, and found really helpful resources. I think you will like it here.

Here's some milk and cookies that I always give out to the guests!

Welcome to AspiesCentral. I was diagnosed at 38 and it has helped me loads. There are loads of great people who contribute to this site. I'm sure that you will find it useful if you read enough and are prepared to ask questions.

I'm sure my Mum is an Aspie too and we suspect that my daughter is also. The genetic link looks to be very strong to me.

Hi - I'm a mother of a teenage son with Aspergers. He is now in 11th grade and is failing miserably. My husband I are thinking of putting him in a boarding school for aspies. We live in New England and would hope to keep him not too far from us. Any suggestions?

A thing that kinda caught my eye. Boarding schools for aspies? Is there such a thing?

Hello, and welcome to Aspies Central. Hope you like it on this forum. And yes, as Jesse said, there are very strong genetic aspects related to Asperger syndrome.
