Mom of a 25 yr old high functioner here; we are entering the phase of life now where he is mentally about 18 and acts like it. I would appreciate any assistance at all on how to "enjoy" this phase of our lives. :/

Hi grasshopper68, welcome to our very caring and supportive assortment of people, all of us at various stages of struggling and/or giggling (yes we insist on having fun too) :)

Welcome to the world of the Aspie :)

It pains me to see yet another individual that got caught up in the labeling system.

There are a wide variety of spectrum people here and none of us fall into any specific category...we share traits that are common to us,but not cut and dried all the way.

I think you will find AC both friendly and helpful

Hi and welcome to aspiescentral! =) I'm not a mom - quite the opposite, i'm 23, single, and childless and plan to stay that way for a while. But my parents think i'm an aspie hence why i'm on here. I'm finishing up college still. I'm kind of confused though...what are you asking about exactly? I don't get it.
