I found this site somehow while googling aspergers. I did so because I know someone who has a kid who was just like me when I was a kid, and he recently got diagnosed aspergers, so i was quite curious to see if that could be behind my "issues". lo and behold, All the symptoms listed on most of the sites matched what i had growing up almost exactly. i don't intend to get an official diagnosis, I don't really want the label really. It is obvious I am atypical, and i always suspected that. I have often described my mind as a fine itallion sports car but missing two cylinders, whereas most minds are a ford or chevy but run on all eight!
Thought it would be interesting to get to know people who have similiar experiences and struggles, we shall see! :D
