Have any of used this website for a while but made no friends here?

You being a geologist make you interesting to me after all my sister is a geologist/economist. Does not make you a friend, who knows possible friend if we meet in person many others here in similar positions.

Yes I have said this before - autistics typically mistake a blank face for being angry. A blank face is just that - it's blank. People rarely actually hate anyone - usually it's that they don't know you so they have no opinion of you.
 
Is not like i am dwelling in sadness etc or feeling a lot less by saying i don't make friends, its just what seems to happen. Something doesn't work right. Other people even evil people has more success in this.
 
I don't know about friends. There are people on this site that I do have a fondness for. People who buoy me up. I like reading them and commenting. Some I wish were doing better than they are.
 
You were talking about that forum is not for making friends. But i think it is. Online is same as offline.

I feel better when I get Negative attention here compared by my everyday life, where i'm bored out.

Once I was talking to a Nurse and I told her: "Let it out, you can be angry at me...". Anger is forbidden, but I'd expect 60 olds to fear fights/anger online, because if they say "let it out" online they risk getting beat up by dumb people.

I have no dogs right now.
That is a lowchen, which means "lion dog." It loosely symbolizes the root meanings of my real first & middle names (crowned + loyal). ;)

FYI, "shih tzu" also means "lion dog," albeit in a different language.

i made a few on here,particularly this guy who i messaged quite a lot & the last time we video-called each other was a few months ago,i messaged him last week & i haven't seen him or heard from him since 👍.

Not to be picky, ;) , but there are green amethysts. Granted most are purple, but I couldn’t resist.

I have a sporadic interest in stones and learned that the name of a stone comes from its chemical (?) composition, not its color.

So there are green amethysts and green garnets. Sapphire and rubies come in many different colors, not just blue and red, respectively.
 
Remember the Monty Python, "argument clinic" sketch? The internet is a lot like that, too.

Friend / friendly just aren't always givens. Same with many things. I drive on the road with other drivers. Few of them can actually drive like they are supposed to. Lame.

Sapphires and rubies are the same mineral, corundum (Al2O3, i.e. aluminium “rust”.) They were named before mineral composition was understood, their names referencing their (predominant) colours. The name sapphire now covers corundum of any colour of the rainbow except red, which is a ruby. Rubies are only of a restricted range of red. Deviate too far and you have a sapphire (and the value goes down.)

(Because corundum has a crystal structure with very strong bonds, second only to diamond in hardness, and pure aluminium is very reactive, the surface of aluminium forms a strong protective layer of oxide very rapidly, preventing oxygen from reaching the aluminium below. So aluminium will not “rust away” like iron.)
