Hello,my name is Dominic.I have had no diagnosis of autism or aspergers and only started to hear of the condition recently. But from the first line in a you tube video discussing aspergers,
"i feel like a visitor from another planet," i knew i was listening to someone who had just summed up my general feeling of life. And from my readings, and viewing on aspergers i feel
i have found a once hidden group of people that i have s many things in common with ,and an excitement to begin speaking to.
This is the first social online group (bar f.b) that i've been a part of,so hoping this introduction is okay.
Please get in touch if you'd like to talk or ask me any thing.
See you soon.

Hi Dominic :)

I think you find this forum to be both helpful and supportive.

welcome to af.webp

Hi Dominic. You sound like I did when I first read about female aspies - what an awakening! Welcome and hope you enjoy it here.

Welcome Dominic!

I wasn't diagnosed until my late 50's.
When I started reading about the traits and what others had to say, it was an Ah-Ha moment
for me too, as I felt like I found a lot of people who was like myself in so many ways.

This is a great forum with a lot of info and good people to talk with.
Hope you find it as helpful and a good place to be as I have. :)

Good to hear from you SusanLr.I I'm feeling optimistic about finding out a lot more about Aspergers, and especially peoples own tricks, and methods to get through the days and at the same time appreciate those days.
