That's one of my cardinal rules for not completely humiliating myself in public: Never try to guess someone's age.

Also, never assume someone is pregnant, and never play leapfrog with a unicorn.

I used to look an honest ten years younger than I was. It's not flattering at all. It's hard to be taken seriously when you're in your twenties but look like a middle-schooler. I got tired of it and grew a beard. Then I looked about five years younger than I was. Now that my hair is falling out and what's left is turning gray, I finally look about my age.
