GoFundMe

I am uncertain about this specific case in terms of board policy, but I tend to be highly critical of GoFundMe projects in general. Not that they are all bad, but a lot of them lack specifics and foresight.

I live in MA and am aware of many of the opportunities, support, and advocacy available in the state [more than most states, actually- particularly for minors] so I am a bit confused about the situation. The description lacks specifics and transparency for starters and that's a problem when asking strangers for money.

This post is under discussion and awaiting a decision, but thanks for raising it SoL ;)

Edit -
Management has no issue with the post.
