Hello all. I'm Wesley, a 19-year old dude who's currently studying Creative Writing at a university in Boston. I enjoy writing, reading, listening to music, playing video games and blowing my time looking up random crap on the internet that is relevant to my obsessions.

I was originally diagnosed with Asperger syndrome in around 2007, I think it was. I was about 12 at the time. For as long as I remember, I have had trouble in social situations, although I will say that on the whole it has gotten better over time. I definitely have had my string of specific obsession phases, ranging from public transit systems to the James Bond movies to the Loch Ness monster. I feel emotions quite strongly, and as a result I find that I am empathetic toward the feelings of others. To relate to someone else's experience, I find, is one of the most basic and universal human desires.

On this forum, I hope I can find some people I can relate to, and that some people can relate to me!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me here. Cheers, and stay brutal.

Welcome, Wesley! You were diagnosed younger than I (I was 16). I hope you can find a home here. :)

Thank you very much for the kind words, I appreciate them. But in all honesty, when I chose my username, I was referencing a video game.

As an aside, I really like the layout and functionality of this website.
Okay. ;) - as for this AC website....So do I. AC is an incredible place, for a lot of reasons. :)

Welcome aboard!
