Gene Wilder...

Another celebrity death that had me a little torn-up. According to the obits, he was a very quiet, reserved person in his private life, who enjoyed painting watercolors and listening to Ella Fitzgerald. The Producers, Willy Wonka, See No Evil, Blazing Saddles... One of the greats. And I respect him and his family for keeping his illness private, much like Bowie and Alan Rickman...in a perverse way, kind of lets us remember him for what he accomplished, without our having to dwell on the fact that he would soon be passed.

This scene has always left me in stitches.

RIP, old friend.
